Version 1.2 is here! I listened to requests and added a few new features like the possibility to globally disable Wordpress default widgets.
I’ve always missed the possibility of adding notes to my clients or co-developers inside Wordpress. I want to be able to communicate directly on the dashboard when logging in into a Wordpress site. So I built a simple plug-in that does exactly this.

Dashboard Widgetized
Control what user-level can edit/view each ‘notepad’.
Up to 3 different notepads as individual widgets.
Configuration on each widget directly.
Disable any Wordpress default widgets (globally).
HTML support for view mode.
Built in raw CSS customization of each pad.

This is an archive of tunes I made during 2000-2005. Some of them recorded with Logic with “real midi gear” and some of them recorded with Propellerheads Reason. Most of the tracks are club-orientated music with an electronic sound.

Notes:

Ridiculous Altitued was orignally titled Done It Myself and the first recordings where made already around late 1999-2000.
The track was recorded with a more dirty guitar sample that somehow was lost among storage disks and had to be re-recorded like I remembered it. The strange sweeping sound has also been used by the band NIN.

First aid

My Macbook started to misbehave today. So when I got back home I had to do a classic quick repair. Staring the MacBook in disk target mode connected to my mini. After running disk utility the problems found has now been repaired. Hopefully the Macbook will behave normally now.

The second office

Currently in Luleå. It’s cold and snowy in a nice way. I’m here visiting my grandparents. They have a wonderful small cabin in the corner of their big garden. This is where I go and work when I’m up here. I even get online on a Telia Homerun connection. The homerun spot is across the sea, 2 km away, but I can reach it! Fantastic!

Relaunching…

I restart, relaunch and re-establish this website.
The old one was boring. The new one is based on a theme I fell in love with directly. It’s called Neutica and is (heavily) based on the font Helvetica.

A few hacks later and here we are…

sweplayer beta 1

At the moment I’m upgrading my knowledge of ActionScript to AS3. It’s a new territory for me but I’ve managed to build a simple mp3 player. I call it sweplayer and it’s a beta 1 release. It’s basicly a simple spectrum to any mp3 you tell the embeded flash file to play. I release it for free for anyone to use. You can download it here (zipped SWF)

• Volume is controlled by clicking the spectrum and dragging up/down.

• Play/Stop is controlled by double clicking anywhere on the spectrum.

• You select which song to play by adding “?Track=path_to_your_track.mp3″ to your embed source. Like this:

path_to_your_track.mp3" scale="aspect" loop="true" width="230" height="190">

The zoom/close thing is not included in the “sweplayer”. It’s my new site’s “web player” that always will play something when you visit (videos, movies, sounds, visuals, etc). It’s pretty basic for now but in the next update I’ll add a menu to select older published clips among other functions.
